All depends on the quality of the re-spray & paint used, I should go on 800 to a grand for a quick blow over keeping to the same colour (will look ok for 6 months to a year)................. upto 3 to 4K for a detailed glass removed before spraying, good laquer and baked of in an oven for a quality job.

I know a place that would do a full blow over on a medium sized car (essentially prep the whole car and add another layer or 2 of top coat) for about £700..

A proper respray involving a strip down like you see on car restoration programs would be £2k minimum for a proper job..

Thing is with bodyshops though is that prices are not roughly the same.. 1 place could be double the price of another place, best to speak to somewhere that you know does good work (ideally recommended by someone who's had work done there!)

How about wrapping it? Get a full car wrap for around 900-1000 with a wide variety of colours and finishes... Worth a thaught
