I shall need new lower wishbones for an MOT as my lower balljoints and rear bushes are shot. Searching the web, best prices seem to be from a company called Motorforce using Febi parts. Anyone used this supplier/part or can others be recommended? Someone said Lemforder parts are better from MotorMec but I'm new to obtaining spares for my vehicle and would be grateful for any advise. Thanks

Febi Bilsten are a good make, but I would buy the Lemforder ones as they are one of the approved BMW suppliers. I am just about to buy Lemforder complete tie rod kits for myself

Afternoon gents - I also need a replacement wishbone due to MOT balljoint failure. Good advice about Lemforder and could you advise where to buy them at a good price?

    Cheers

Nah........................I fitted the q-drive ones to my wifes car, they lasted 3 days- changed to lemforder ones- spot on.

Just had a customer come in with another E46 2days ago.......complained about dodgey steering, afer checking his car out and history we found that he had new rear wishbone bushes put in 2 months ago........guess what, they were Q-drive ones!! and they were shot.

I've just replaced osf wishbone with Lemforder brand, along with new rear bush. GSF Car parts did the parts for £115 inc vat which i thought was pretty reasonable. Didnt take too long to change either. They did have a cheaper brand but i didnt go for it as it was half the price and i was unsure of quality.
