Phoenix Motor sports are offering PowerFlex bushes pre pressed into a choice of 3 different coloured anodised housings.

They also offer £5 refund for part exchanging your old housings, now I know that the forum has a
similar swap scheme in place but I thought members could offer this £5 refund to the forums???

IIRC the forums swap scheme is also a £5 donation so for all those members who don't have the tools, time or inclination
to press their own PowerFlex bushes into the housings its a win, win situation plus the forum benefits to boot!

    what do you think guys?

The bushes are listed on E-Bay Phoenix Motor Sports Uk Front Lower Arm Bushes

Maybe some people would like them to be coloured - I don't see the attraction as they're pretty much hidden from view, and exposed to everything the road & engine has to offer.

There's another guy on Ebay that sells the powerflex bushes pre-pressed into the housing for the same price. The bushes cost £40 - £45, even less at trade prices, so that's a nice profit every time IMO.

The "exchange scheme" on Bimmerforums seems to a bit of an ad-hoc thing - when I was looking for lillipops for mine, I ended up buying a 2nd hand set from a forum member - the only goodwill was £15 his way!!! No-one came forward & said "we've got this scheme..." - hence I say it's ad-hoc.

The only reason you need lollipops is for a quick swapover of bushes - the old bushes take a bit of working to remove from the lollipops, so I wanted some bushes so I could pre-press the powerflex bushes in there first, then just swap them over with the ones on my car. If you have time to strip yours off the car, press the old bushes out & press the new ones in, then re-install, it's the cheapest way of doing it (but not the fastest)!
