Hello all, the whole left hand side indicators have stopped working, i have replaced fuses, and relays and cant seem to find a fault so need a cheapish auto electrician located around the berkshire area, anyone got any recommendations, needs to be under £50 an hour.

    Cheers.

when you push the indicator arm down, do you hear any clicking, ie relay? have you tried the hazard switch? it could be the stalk switch? Is it your compact with the issue?

No, theres no noise from the relay when indicating left. the hazards will only work on the right side, not the left, and only the right arrow illumniates on the dash. and ive changed the stalk and didnt affect anything.

Using a test light connected to a good engine earth point, check for voltage/power at the left side front indicator, this will establish if you have a + (positive) feed.

Then connect the test light to the + (positive) engine jump point under the bonnet and check for a - (negative) feed at the indicator plug.

Other option is take it to a BMW specialists near you with Autologic, they will be able to turn on individual lights and determine the fault. http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...county-t18129/
