Hmmm, sounds like a similar situation with another Scottish dealer.

I just wish that BMW would make these guys order the parts for delivery the day before a customers car is due in, that way when these things happen they don't end up causing all this hassle.

Hope they treat your car better than mines was treated elsewhere, but then Harry Fairbarin never got back to me re a car I wanted to buy then I discovered that they are actually Arnold Sharks and I was glad they hadn't got in contact.

roblem with BMW bolts is that standard size ones don't fit. I've learnt this in the past and been told that I have to buy the whole kit again at a cost of XYZ. Aye right!

Have driven BMWs for years and have NEVER had a pleasant experience with Harry Fairbairns ! Know of plenty of other people who feel the same as me and had similar experiences!
The salesmen's heads are right up their own ar**'s ! Would NEVER deal with fairbairns. They're owned by Arnold Clark which isnt always a bad thing but even when other Arnold Clark garages tell you that Fairbairns are S**t it tells you something ! Sorry for the rant but hey its all true ! The Irvine garage is ALOT worse than the Glasgow branch !

crap man cheers for the irvine info as well as I was going to go there lol.

Mental note never to go to GLA or Irvine for me bimmer. Anyone seen the new EDI site yet? Supposed to be able to fit a jumbo jet in the showroom alone. Purpose built and all that. Red.

Is this the new Eastern BMW site at Newbridge? I am booked in there on Wednesday to have the car looked at. The servicing bit moves there from Monday.

I know that its already the biggest Mini Showroom in the UK. Just now have to hope I don't come out with something else lol! One thing I can Guarantee tho is getting a decent service and a undamaged car in return

I gave up taking my cars to dealers years ago. Way over priced

Dealers charge nearly double the normal price on certain Items

eg. rear brake pads e36 £62 make Jurid

MotorMec spares, £37 make Jurid, only difference with these pads is the packaging. BMW get them packaged and stamped with there Logo on them thats the difference

they think BMW drivers are loaded, well some are
