I did all the shopping around last month. If your after a proper job, not just a quick overspray, and little to no hassle the wheelspecialists are as good as any. Most mobile refurbers charge £40-£60/ wheel and only do the front face after a clean and rub down. Quality varys massively as i found out when looking at their work.
Get yourself down to Paul at 1st Class Alloys in Lichfield for a proper strip, shot, metal filled, powder coated finish, and at a cheaper price usually than anything quoted above.
I have mine booked in shortly, he has done a few on here, Kevin Whittaker, Steve 23002.......
i have a guy that does tintz he looks after me as well he is in nottingham as usually comes to my property, what car do you have and i will ask him for a price :thumbsup:thumbsup this is his website http://uktintz.co.uk
Wheelspecialist charge too much, good job but rip-off - National Alloys in Widnes do mine, IIRC it's £180/set of 4 at 18", £160 for smaller ones. They do any colour and it's a FULL refurb job.
Obviously at these prices you need to book in-advance, usually 3-4 weeks.
We have found it 1.5k cheaper but we won't get that lol
Thanks again mainblazer
