    Found a garage that usesa hunter aligner, rang up to day and asked if they have done a bmw, they said no but could get the correct perameters to do mine, they quoted for 1-1/2 hours work! £132 thats inc vat! i said it would take alot less as all the bolts are free and not siezed!!!, he said if thats the case maybe only 1hour, so i think i should go and see them as i'm not completely sure they can set mine up to how it should be?, and by that i believe they are asking a bit much!!, if they do a good job, and the guys are trained correctly on the machine then i will happily recomend them to others!! i will watch and see how they do my car as i know it inside out by now. just worried if my car will be the test machine??? if so maybe they should be quoting alot less.... but what do you think???
    Does it sound good?, And does any 1 have any info for the correct perameters they should be using????

    Had mine done on a Hunter machine yesterday mate for £112.00 and what a difference it has made compared to the pikey alignment I got last month. The front wheels are still out slightly as it is lowered so he ran out of play on whatever he pisses around with to align the wheels. Took around 1.5 hours. The car still isn't totally spot on but I'm bearing in mind I need F452's to get it perfect.

    Wow, your motor is in worse shape than my old Escort was with regards to alignment.

    The BMW profiles should already be in the Hunter system, its usually shipped with them, and if they know what they're doing it won't take anywhere near an hour.

    Last car I had in for alignment was a 1989 Fiesta, that hadn't been touched for around 15 years. They heat the lockrings/nuts with Oxy/Propane and then free them off in a second or 2, no way is it going to take an hour!

    1993 Ford Escort 1.4 ::: 1994 Vauxhall Astra 1.7TDi ::: 1995 Ford Escort 1.4
    1994 Volvo 940se Turbo ::: 1999 Vauxhall Vectra 2.0 SRI (140)

    I took mine to a place in Knaresbrough (spelling?) and they were great. NE Autos I think it was. Proper 4 wheel alignment, little cameras on arms that move up and down to look at these things attached to the wheels, don't know if that's a hunter machine? Either way they didn't take an hour and had to heat a couple of nuts. Only £45 and the transformation in the handling was incredible.

    I visited www.alignmycar.co.uk and found 3 garages within a 8 mile radius of my home. I paid £48 for a full Hunter alignment - it took c1 hour.

    It's a pretty complex process and quite time-consuming.
