I initially enquired about getting my swirl flaps removed, however after speaking to them, they recommended the turbo boost vacuum pipe that runs from under the inlet manifold all the way over the top of the engine to the vacuum accumilator down by the turbo is replaced and the breather pipe filter. I later added an ATF change in and booked me in for a Saturday :-) there are a lot of specialist within a few miles to where i live but they gave me a quote whcih warranted me to travel 20 miles they seemed to know what they were talking about
As i drove up to the garage i noticed a few BMWs outside, later i noticed they have a lot of BMWs, from old e30s to M3s...must be quite a popular garage! 5 bays and a lot of BMWs!
Stu, the guy who served me seemed to know hell of a lot about BMWs, nice chap too. Dropped the keys off knowing I had to kill 3 hours. I took a walk and came back after an hour, and spent the time in the waiting area. Nice coffee machine to use and the latest BMW magazines which were a good read , not a 3 year old autotrader haha! nice sofa and tv are also included.
After a little while, when they done the swirls, Stu came up and had the flaps in a resealable bag and showed me how bad the flaps were! so glad i got the job done! A bit later the car was ready, got my invoice and off i was. Could instantly tell the difference with the gearbox!
All in all, this is probably one of the better experiences I have had with a garage, I highly reccommend getting your stuff done here, I will deffo be going back for my service,
If you do have to go there and spend a few hours doing something, i would get a train to bristol which isnt far. Chepstow town centre is made up of a jam shop, pawnbroker and a horse.
ps. i got some swirl flaps for sale now
