    Hiya guys,

A friend of a friend recommended FABDIRECT for second hand parts, just wondering if anyone had any dealings with them and if so any good?

    Cheers in advance

    Kieran

They supplied my s/h engine, and were reported by the independent that fitted it to be first rate. Apparently some of their competitors supply s/h engines untidilly finished. I was told that FAB always bind and finish all connections tidilly, so that the connections are easy.
When I queried the mileage they went out of their way to do the best they could to reassure me, in spite of not being under any contractual obligation to me. They were first rate and a total contrast to BMWUK and their dealer network.
    regards, DUN

I've used FAB a couple of months back for a couple of airbags for an E46. When ordering, I asked if they could be sent to the garage which would fit them, or HAVE to go to the card holders address. The guy said yes, that's no problem, so I gave them the address of the garage which the car was booked into for the day.

I went to the garage first thing in the morning with the car, and waited till 5:30 near enough, and still the airbags didn't turn up. So I went home, and just as I parked up, the lady from next door, a Blockbuster, said a parcel was delivered in the morning for me, but no-one was in so they took it in. It was the friggin' airbags wan it. Bloody. So had to rebook the car in for the following week.

    Total waste of a day.

I've used FAB a few times. They're not cheap, but they don't sell crap and the stuff always turns up up on time. well packaged and in good condition.

likewise. used them once for a E60 diff. great blokes, i have to say. i also got a discount when i went over there, 20£, and a free brand new thermostat for my e36. i would recommend them to anyone.
There are only two products required to make the universe work properly: Duct tape and WD40.

If it moves (and it shouldn't): duct tape.
If it doesn’t move (and it should): WD40.

    Everything else is just stuff.
