    Would be interested in the answers as well as I seem to have a faulty one in the front of my e60 not to sure what colour of blue I have but colour probably wouldn't matter as they should be same price for all colours.
    I have seen them advertised on ebay but you don't know what they are really like link below

    ya have to paint them yourself usually unless ya can source reclaimed S/H ones...
    330i sport a big chunk of berlin...

    how do you think they get them in all the different paint colours of the BMW range in the first place? with magical fookin fairies and fairy dust?

    Its only the really old style ones you cant paint. Paint doesnt affect the new ones

    Thanks mate for replying in my case painting is not the problem it's just that one of the sensors dosn't seem to working 100% so all I asked was fix/clean or repair it nothing about painting thanks mate.

    I don't think DD was trying to put anyone down, that's his way of trying to help and he was making a serious point about them being painted somewhere. Give him a chance and he'll grow on you; well so I've heard, I'm still waiting.

    I can't read the OP as it's been edited out but I've heard of people painting the sensors without issues. Personally if I had to replace one I'd probably just get a new one already painted from BMW rather than fitting a replacement sensor that could be up to 10 years old.
