Jeezo, how hard can it be for a UK (or Europe) seller to sell the bulb sockets for the instrument panel on my 318i? I looked up the microfiche online and found the part to be #62111392983. OK, now to search the net. Sounds easy enough.

After much searching, either I pay mental delivery costs from the USA or buy from BMW where they can charge me a ridiculous price for a small item.
Does anyone have any ideas where I can by this part in Europe for a decent price?

I have moved a few nearer to my odometer led but out of the 14 or so in the cluster there are only about 5 left so someone else has been at it. Dullsville!

Has one of your bulbs in the instrument cluster blown? My handbrake bulb was blown and I just bought another one from Halfords.

My mileage display had dimmed so I needed to source replacement bulbs too.
I went for the cheaper option and just ordered some bulbs from Ebay.
Hardest part I found was splitting the bulbs from the holders in the first instance (they are soldered to the connectors...grrrr)
Well worth a few minutes with a soldering iron looking at the price difference tho'

I dont have most of the holders. I guess someone who had the car before me has pilfered them as there are only about 20% of the holders left in the row. I'm looking for the holders first then it should be easier getting the bulbs. I can get the holders from the USA but the P&P from there is about £40 for 6!

Sorry, I misread your original thread (it was early..lol) and failed to spot that the real issue is that yours are missing.
Beyond Ebay I'm not really sure where else to suggest (other than finding one in a scrappie and relieving it of it's bulbs and holders).
A stealer would prob charge an arm and a leg.

    It's these ones - BMW Bulb with Socket Base 12V - 1.2W

The cost is ok but you get crucified on P&P from the USA.
