    Getting the outer sleeve out isn't a big problem, all you need to do is, pop the rubber bush back out, get a large hacksaw, remove the blade, pass the blade through the hole in the arm, then re-fit the blade to the hacksaw upside down, so now the hacksaw will be hanging in the hole by the blade. Now cut through the sleeve, try not to cut into the arm too much, repeat this a couple of times if its really stuck, then remove the saw, the tension will now have been removed from the sleeve and it should simply tap out, - jobs a good-un

    Sounds good.. But other half of the problem I can see with this is I cant get the trailing arm down low enough so I can get any decent angle or leverage at it.

    Think might be where car is quite low as it is, but once the side is jacked up I cant really get that arm lower then the side skirts so I'm not sure Ill have much room to manoeuvre the hacksaw once its up in there.
