I had the rear bushes changed on my E34 525 tds today at NorthWest BMW in Horwich (Bolton), I read Shrekster's How to guide but thought best to take to a garage.
Great customer service booked the car in 0900hrs and was ready 1400hrs and only cost £211 Inc VAT which I think is quite reasonable, was that a fair price?

hmmmm i dont know considering i only paid 30 summet quid for powerflex bushes and only took me about 4 or 5 hours to do both on my drive with just axel stands a drill and daft tools so u could of saved 170 notes but if you have the money then fair play but i dont so :P and it was a easy job barring the stiffnes of the bolts

apparently they are a completely different job, my local indy did my e36 rear trailing arm bushes in about half hour (while i watched), the semi independent axle of an e34 makes it much a much longer job, that price sounds fair to me
