    Please move to http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/f6/ - I'm a little blind

Ello again, been a while since I last posted just after I got the 316 :P

Went for Inspection I yesterday, nearly got ripped off for parts etc., etc., usual story.

However, one of the things I was sorting myself was the front tyres - thank heavens for eTyres! (£64 per tyre, including mobile fitting to any address, compared to £104 per tyre!!)

But the guy had trouble taking off one of the wheels... surely they would have removed the wheels the day before to check brakes & look for corrosion? And surely the wheel wouldn't seize to the point of needing a mallet to remove the wheel after one day?

Think I should give them a bell? What could I gain out of it if I did?

You should certainly mention it. At the end of the day, the inspection has not been carried out according to your expectations

BMW don't take the wheels off in an inspection to check the brakes they use a depth gage so realistically they don't really do much to fully check the brakes just lift it up and check the depth of the pads

Thanks Lee, suppose when it's up on the lift they can also inspect all of that area without removing the wheel.

Inspection 1 under 'Undercarriage check', it does say to grease wheel centre hubs. OP, you need to complain.

Won't get nowhere I asked about mine after an Indy told me they hadn't greased them after an inspection 2 when my break wear light came on, BMW said they do not remove the wheels to inspect the breaks etc they use a depth gage and write on your sheet the thickness of each pad
