    Hi all,
My car has been running uneven since the past few days. I have taken it to an Official BMW dealer but they have no idea what the probelm could be as the ECU does not give any error.
Any good BMW diesel specialist in London or Swindon?

The engine is uneven when idle but if left for minutes will eventually become regular.

    Thank you.

Have they read the fault codes from the car?

    Hi, sorry for the delay.

There are no faults code, this is the real problem for them and this is why they were not able to propose a job... I am sure you know what i mean.

It seems that i need a diesel specialist as i have seen already an indipedent BMW specialist in Rickmansworth and just as the BMW dealer, because there are no error codes, he is not able to identify the issue.

Do you know any good diesel specialist in London? I don't care about doing some extra miles.

    Thank you.

So, the BMW dealer did not know how to read the ECU?

    Anyway, any recommendation in London?

Not saying they didn't know how to read it, I'm saying that a good auto electrician or diesel specialist may know more about what sensors and readings should be indicating

    Ronnie makes a good point.
SOME main dealers are good....some are completely clueless.

I will post up a few alternative places in the am

    Thank you.

I will wait for some good indy in the area... don't mind doing few extra miles.

Also, I have received good feedback about Custom Werks near Heatrow. What are your comments.

    Regards

I would not use Custom Werks, my friend had a bad experience with them.

I would advise Boxter Motors in Staines, check there website out!
    They were very good.
