Same happened to me. They said none in stock so sent me an alternative. I e-mailed them saying that I would have prefered to wait for the product that I'd ordered so they sent it me when in stock for free!
Great service but felt a little guilty.

Going to use the forum shop from now on though as their prices are better.

Just received my first order from CYC, they screwed up the delivery due to the bank holiday but they offered me some free samples but instead I asked for some W&D sandpaper which Tim was happy to let me have. All well packed, and correct upon arrival.

To the OP, with all due respect, when I have a consumer problem with a company I generally ring them first before I do anything else, which usually includes posting on a forum about it!

Well, maybe I should have phoned them first like you sad, but on the website it only provides urgent request call numbers.
(I would have called if the product they sent me had a short expiry date or my vehicle needs an urgent treatment, etc)
So I sent them an e-mail regarding the delivery but I haven't heard anything from them yet, and I posted this tread a day after I sent the e-mail.

Maybe I am being a jerk but I think I have freedom to present my experience of trade with a retailer regardless to the status of it being negative or positive. I'll change the post's title to 'review' cus I think that might make you feel a little better.
Thanks for the advice anyways, 'Flipsacoin'.
