2005 E85 Z4 2.5i -Finally entered the world of BMW! And so far very happy! Just about to get an Inspection 2 done on my new purchase... Anyone tried both Peter Michaels and North West BM? If so, can anyone give any pro's/cons of either? Great site this and good to have all these people to bounce information off!

I've used BM Northwest, they only replaced the diff bush but I was pleased with the job they did and would return there.

That being said my mate takes his M3 to Darren Woods, 60 mile round trip, and he cannot speak highly enough of the guy so am tempted to use him in the future

Cheers... I've had a walk into both Peter Michaels and North West BM just to try and get a feel for both places before entrusting my new baby to them.. Peter Michaels looks the part - and there was a right moaner (customer) giving the guy in reception a hard time over the lack of a courtesy car (the impression I got was that he was just an arrogant a@se hole rather than Peter Michaels bad service).
North West BM looked more "spit and sawdust" but that doesn't necessarily mean they do any less of a job...
I will take a look at Darren Woods too... I don't mind a drive out if the work done is good so thanks for drawing my attention to them also... I really tend to put faith in personal recommendations above anything else so these forums are incredibly useful! Cheers

N West BMW service my car and always do a good job. I get a courtesy car and they phone me with updates and or any issues with the service they are doing for us. If you want posh go to BMW, always ask about the cost of the service before you have it done that goes for any garage. The oil service for my car cost £75 book stamped and all genuine BMW parts used. I would recommend them, but haven't used the other places so can not compare.
