This week it's brake pads and discs but I do have a list of items I will be needing in the near future. Just don't want to buy from an online store and get ripped off.

I buy most of my parts on line from various companies such as ECP GSF and vsrious companies on e bay etc ect prices always seem reasonable for what are mostly OEM items, Last purchase was for two mahle oil filters genuine items which were a 75 percent cheaper than the main stealers chargec for exactly the same item except it wasnt in a bmw box....

    ECP
    allgermanparts.co.uk
    buycarpartsby.co.uk
    ebay

if you do some homework on OEM actual part makers brandname (they stamp them as BMW for BMW but sell them aswell thru auto factors etc minus the BMW stamp but exact same part) and cross referance part numbers you can get OEM bargains on ebay as monkeys sell them for to fit certain cars only when they in fact fit far more cars in the range...

example stock BMW brake pads are mainly made by Textar or Jurid but stamped up as BMW...

another example ECP were selling EBC red stuff ceramic pads on ebay for 60 quid to fit Z4 bmws with the wrong picture, but the exact same pads and part number are fitted to 330's aswell i saved myself 13 quid minimum in a few minutes just by cross referancing part numbers on realoem.com first...
330i sport a big chunk of berlin...

ECP are good for brake parts, I personally tend to use Pagid brake parts from them - good prices and good quality parts that last very well

Motormec are another good source - their website used to be excellent - but they had it re-modelled and it is crap now, best to ring and ask about what you want and prices.
If in doubt and when all else fails - read the instructions!!
