HI I read through looads of reccommendations on this and other BMW forums - important to get a mechanic you trust to look after your car - RW Weaver of 3a Devlin Road in Cathcart Glasgow (0141 571 0005) got a lot of good reviews and a few raves so I took my 2005 525 touring there yesterday - first class service and they take the time to talk you through what is likely to need done over the next year up until the next MOT or service - honest enough to say they don;t do some stuff like air conditioning recharges etc and tell you where to go - they focus on the oily bits and vital things that keep your Beemer running and that's fine by me - don;t be put off by the premises - compact and Bijou!! They use all the genuine BMW bits and pieces to ensure no nasty GM motor bits end up attached to your car. Really handy for the train station into town so that helps too.

    Highly recommended.
