Sent my car into BM EuroService in Wolverhampton for an oil and filter change, not due but my first one since owning the car (you never know what is stamped but not done!)

Firstly, nice job, no issues and what I think is a decent price compared with the Stealers but I asked them to check a number of 'Gremlins' that I though may have been wrong. Whilst they didn't find a fat lot wrong (I am paranoid) they took off the front pulley system, checked the stearing fluid and topped up 1/4 litre but only charged me for the oil service!

Mark and Paul @ BM Euroservice are top guys, they're not on here but would recommend 100%

    Yes I've used BMEuroservice.

There are two main techs. Mark is a great guy and very helpful. However, I felt that Paul was very kurt and made me feel like an idiot.

They are virtually as expensive as BMW dealership.

You will have to wait around 2 weeks for them to even look at your car.

    I would not recommend them.

    Lee, I think that's unfair.
I've been using BMEuroservice for quite a few years now and they've kept my aging BMW on the road when it simple wouldn't have been possible going through a dealership. They've always been very friendly and happy to explain anything and crucially spend some time talking through solutions if a costly repair is needed.

A few years ago my 7 Series was virtually un-drivable and major work was required or it was off to the breakers. Paul and Mark went through the list of repairs with me, agreed a fee which was affordable and a fraction of the cost it would have cost at a dealership. When the car was returned to me, they carefully took me through the work, taking me through a series of photos of each stage. The car felt back to normal and I still drive it today.

I drive a good 30 miles to go to BMEuroservice, always find them very reasonably priced and I personally would rather wait a couple of weeks for a busy, reliable garage than one I can drive in to tomorrow.
    Thanks,
    Mark

My wife,s 120d went in for diagnosis. They charged £56 diagnosis and then came back with a series of fault codes. They quoted £850 for fixing her car and when I asked for an itemised bill it stated them replacing glow plug, egr valve and cleaning the DPF. The car was losing power but I suspected that it would not take that much money for them jobs. After a bit of googling I cleaned the EGR myself and the DPF was removed for £250. They do not fix anything. Like the main stealers they simply replace parts until the car starts working, at the customers expense. Find a proper mechanic or do your research online. These guys are no better than main stealers at ripping you off! I am not even a mechanic, never mind a BMW specialist. I think I know more than these guys by fixing my wife's car for £250 as opposed to £850. Shameful !!
