So, I desperately needed brake pads and discs before a long drive the following week, I order the parts a week in advance of my journey from Mister Auto (CAR PARTS from Mister Auto - Your Parts at discount prices) - their website clearly states 48hr delivery at the top and their Terms and Conditions state that if for any reason the 48hr delivery cannot be met, you will be notified, but otherwise delivery is 3-5 working days.
I place the order last Tuesday, by Friday I had received no notification nor parts. I phone their overseas call centre and I am told that my order has not even been picked yet, nor despatched and that it won't be sent until Monday. I demand Next Day Saturday delivery based on the fact that they have broken their terms and caused me great inconvenience, but they say no and only offer to refund my £5 delivery cost...
Monday arrives, I get an email from Mister-Auto stating that my goods have been despatched and will be delivered on the 14th (Tuesday) - I check with UPS to see when...only to discover that in Mister-Auto world, the 14th means the 15th and that they won't arrive until Tuesday - A 8 DAYS SINCE PLACING THE ORDER. I will update this thread tomorrow if they arrive.
Their parts might be cheaper than everyone else, but there's a good reason why. They have no UK customer services (I haven't a clue who answers the phone but the delay on the line suggests that it is somewhere rather remote), parts are shipping from abroad so 48hr delivery is a joke.
I certainly will never place another order with these cowboys (CAR PARTS from Mister Auto - Your Parts at discount prices), I can only suggest that others do the same.
