Just thought I would let you guys know that I would recommend the above garage if you live in or near Sth Yorks and looking for a reliable garage that knows their stuff and are specialist in BMW. Took my x3 in for swirl flaps removing, new brake fluid, and new fluid in front and rear diffs £225 all in, getting Transfer fluid changed next, car feels smoother and now I have peace of mind. Dealt with a chap called Phil very helpful and didn't mind answering any questions, first class service.

Would also like to add to this thread recommending AutoTechnics in Doncaster South Yorkshire.

I had horrendous problems with my 6 series after a head gasket problem that I had taken to another garage and they had done a total botch-up of the job.

Took it to Auto Technics and dealt with Phil. Fantastic service, I cannot thank them enough. I will not trust my car with anyone else now.

If you have a BMW this independent BMW specialist (both guys are ex-BMW) is the place to take it. Cannot praise them enough.

Have dealt with a number of crooks, bad mechanics and some people who are just generally not very nice and rip-off merchants. A good honest reliable mechanic is like gold-dust and these guys are great
