    I have a 2006 e90 320d, where would be the best place to get a good pair of 18 inch alloys from, I like the bmw styles, and would preffer them to others. Can anyone recommend where I could get a bargin from.

    Will bmw take my old alloys and give me better ones if I pay the difference, do they do that or should I just sell them elsewhere

    Unlikely you will get a part-ex on your old alloys.

    A cost effective way is to get replicas off fleabay.

    BMW alloys crack too, especially with the RFT's fitted. I have had several rims replaced over the past 18 months. It's a case of paying your money really. There will be a lot of folk on here running replicas with few issues I guess. BMW wheels go through a 21 point manufacturing checking system IIRC, whereas the minimum is 10 point. This could be garbage, a wheel refurber told me this only last week.

    i wouldnt buy wheels from bmw, they'd want ridiculous money!!! just google bmw alloys and you'll get plenty of places that sell genuines and replicas! also as mark said theres a few people selling good quality replicas on ebay with tyres for very low prices!

    It is the correlation between the notional centre line of the wheel and the hub facing, see here;

    thanks, havent tried the breakers yeards yet, will look into that. What sort of price should I be paying for a good set of 18 inch on ebay anyway, would 700 be too much
