    Hi

Can anyone advise me on my bumper issue? Whilst I was sat at the roundabout on Sunday and transit van went into the back of my car. Initial damage was minimal. It wasn’t til I got home that I realised that although there was no apparent damage to the rear of my car I did notice when I got home that the side parts of the metal work attached to the bumper now is out of alignment to the rest of the bodywork.

Does anyone know how much work is involved with taking the rear bumper off to inspect the possible damage behind the bumper itself? The Transit van was at the standstill point before hitting me and when he did hit my bumper it was square on….

I was pondering trying to repair the damage myself, so that the repair cost would be minimal for the chap that hit me?

I did notice that there are bolts on the inside of the rear wheel arch, which presumable hold the side bit on?

    Regards
