Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone had any info which might help me locate an air con compressor for 850Ci. Mine has seized, If it just meant no AC I could live with that, but unfortunetely it makes the car undriveable due to the slipping drive belt.
    Thanks a lot.

The drive belt also drives the water pump and fan.

You should be able to use a shorter belt mate. Ive seen this done before. The shorter belt will just bypass the air con compressor. That would be the cheapest and easiest way to keep you on the road...

I know a couple of ppl taking 8-series cars apart at the moment. Please PM me in case you are interested in contact details.

I would have been breaking one, myself, had I had space - somebody has a botched conversion project they have given up on and have offered me the vehicle. Unfortunately my number of cars per square meter ratio is too high already .
