Just thought i would tell you this true story and it might help you if you have dealings with this company.
Last year i had a peugeot 406, my neighbour thought it would be a good idea to reverse into the side of it. My insurance company (swift cover) Told me i had to take it to williams manchester to be fixed. It took them a month to fit me in cos i needed a courtesy car. Then it took them 3 weeks to fit and paint the rear door. When i arrived to pick it up i noticed the laquer on the top of the bumper had come off, it wasnt a small amount it was about a foot long. On pointing this out i was told that it wasnt there fault the bumper must of had a poor quality paint job done in the past. I refused to take the car away untill they fixed the problem.
They told me if i didnt they would charge me storidge. I spoke to my insurance in there lobby and was told to take it home and they would send an asseser to look at it. After throwing the phone at the fool and a few more heated words he was addamnt that they wouldnt fix it.
So i phoned my 6 foot 3 brother who happens to be a fully qualified pannel beater and sprayer and told him to come straight down. On the sight of him they started to see sense. They offered to have a look at it out of good will.
It was fixed by the next morning.
The point is this should never have been allowed to get this far. I thought when the phone hit him he would see the light.
How many more people will be ripped off by this company. BEWARE
