Hi folks I am aware that you can purchase a chip for this engine which I already have. I'm wondering if it is possible to remap to go even further I want to retain my edc pump but will be installing a bigger rotor and camplate so will need to have even more fuel requested in the map. Anyone know if this is possible or am I barking up the wrong tree. Thanks.

So its totally undo-able? I already have a chip in but really I need the fueling increasing and more advance probably once I get these parts. I might just have to try get the m21 pump then if it really isn't possible. Surely it must be?

Ahh totally with you. That's excellent! Good to know. Do you know if anyone on here is able then to supply the chip write it and install it preferably with some testing to get the best from the setup.

I have been informed that due to the way the edc pump is controlled, a remap is unnecessary. The ecu in the 325 tds and 525 tds I would presume works on the inputs and fuel output is on like a sliding scale before an upgraded chip is put in the scale only goes to 80% of what the pump can pump. With a chip it will do 100% so with upgraded pumping capacity it'll pump 100% of that. Hope that's understandable to anyone reading :-)
