I was reading in the latest PMBMW, while sat in the air port wating for a plane I wasn't even booked on yesterday, and this little bit of information caught my eye.

I think this is brilliant and , not a to bad price, if think what it actually is. I think I will do this to my car, when I get one that is.

    Thoughts?

(I have included a picture of the article for those that haven't yet managed to read the PMBMW )

at the moment I have one of 2 options-full respray or wrap.I think the wrap is looking the better option as its cheaper and I think it may be more hard wearing-ie it would prtect the paintwork underneath better against stone-chips etc.
Definately an option to keep in mind .
my only concern was how well does it cover-I mean is it visible to the eye and how they go about wrapping difficult places ie around the E36 M3 mirrors?

it is pretty pricey, especially for a full car wrap

dont some companies wrap your car for free if they have their ads all over them, and sponsor you to drive with your car dressed up? sure some places do, like cartridge world and that?

well when reading the article they seem to say that they can wrap anything, maybe worth a phone call to ask. They use laser thermostats to place it one, fancy

What colors were you looking at?

yeah I suppose they do but who wants cartridge world plastered over their car? (or some other none related car company) unless maybe they sponsored some of the inner workings for your car I think it's really good for the price you pay, not only does it look ace it protects the car as well, from chips and such.

how tough do you think it would be to protect from stones?

as a chip in paint doesnt look as bad as a tear in vinyl that has got a bit ragged (imo)...

lol i know, but even so I'd rather have it a clean car, so I have some saving up to do.

Umm didn't think of that, maybe some questions I can ask when I phone to query them about it. (the tares in the vinyl)
