But if there are bubbles, he is right they should disappear after a month. This is what any tinter will say if there are small bubbles..

Mine even said some may appear..

If they dont disappear, or if they are big then definately get your money back or get him to repair it..
I guess i must be one of the lucky ones. It might be because I am going to firms who specialize in window tinting and because of this their prices are pretty high but I have never been disappointed so I'm guessing that it might be a case of you get what you pay for. I've seen cars tinted by many firms and some of them are pretty poor quality.

I would always recommend doing your research on the company before deciding who to use and also check out their jobs, usually these firms always have a few cars being tinted when you go in so its worth having a look for peace of mind.

    Couldnt have said better myself.

I went to a place in Lancing called Wicked Tinting. Specialists, and wasnt all that cheap, but I went on hearsay and heard alot of good things about them.

Definately right, you get what you pay for

Well im no expert on window tints, but i belive, with bubbling, it is the same as vinyls. Bubbles is trapped air between the window and the film. as far as i know, this means the people have done a bad job at prepping and finishing the job and the bubbles may go down, but leave impurities on the window. As i say im no expert and i could be talking a load of cr@p

i rang another tinting firm today and they said its not uncommon to get bubbles as on older cars they will use a lot of fluid to apply the tints and as long as they are not air bubbles i should be ok ,and the firm i used came highly recommended , so fingers crossed

You cannot feel the bubbles to touch can you? As stated, bubbles will be visible.

How long is the warranty that they provide?

I had my current convertible tinted in december when it was freezing and he didn't leave any bubbles.
Same here man , do not accept it . The 1st time i applied tint years and years ago i left it with no bubbles , so what does that say to you .
A pro company is there to deliver a pro service .
