Why would you spend a load of money on nice wheels then put your original crap ones back on to stop them getting 'cold' in the winter....

Can't see the point. Just clean and protect them, your car will look good all year round instead of just summer. Some people are just stupid!!!!GRRR

Why not go a stage further and just leave your car in your garage all year round, it will look lovely all the time then...

But I don't live in Canada or Russia so why would I want winter tyres? The ones on my car are perfectly adequate for the weather we get in the UK. It snows for maybe 1 or 2 days a year...

stupid!?! you will have to wash them daily not weekly if you want to stop salt getting under the polished lip of the wheels. Washing your wheels daily now thats STUPID!

Unless your happy clening them daily. Id stick your old wheels back on

Most people want to avoid getting salt from the roads on the polished areas of the wheel, as salt starts going down in October time (ish!) most peeps I know go from October to Feb

Poor Boys wheel sealant is brilliant, stops all that horrible brake dust ruining the alloys, apply a few coats, purchased mine off Ebay after it was recommended on here a few months ago.
