not sure the best as everyone has diffrent preferences..my mate actually prefers the good old t-cut..seen vids on meguiars stuff but ther are loads out ther..one bar should do the whole car no probs as long as you take a small enuf but decent size piece off in the first place..oh and obviously dont drop the bar..toss it if you do..some use water too lubricate the bar but most kits come with a detialer spray that will do this..good luck amigo

bilt-hamber, the first i used and the best imho. and you only need water as a lube, so more cost effective

personally i get my claybars from rob at performance motorcare and use good old megs last touch as lube diluted about 2 parts water to 1 last touch and it works fine for me and is way more cost effective than buying the expensive kits in halfrauds etc

I started off with the meg's kit but have now moved on to some softer clay I got from elite car care (I think it's their own brand). It's fantastic for getting off the sap that my car always seems to get bombarded with!

On a side note: I accidently used Dodo Juice red mist tropical quick detailer once instead of clay lube and it seemed to react funny with the clay.

Thats because red mist is more of a spray sealant than a quick detailer
