    Hi Tony,

Depends how carried away you wanna get

Megs clay kit is a good start as said you should also get yourself a nice lambs wool wash mitt, decent shampoo, couple of buckets and a nice dryning towel.

A couple of great glazes/polishes for black paintwork are chemical guys EZ creme or black hole both do a great job of hiding hairline scratches etc and lay down the perfect foundation for application of your wax choice.

For a wax you cant go far wrong with colinite 476s fairly cheap compared to most waxes and out punches anything in its price bracket in terms of durabilty

A foam lance would be a great asset as well but again depends how much £ you want to spend.

    Hope that helps

    Neil

    Neil,
I've heard of chemical guys but who manufacture "black hole"?
I've just got a hold of some Dodo Juice Blue Velvet, yet to give it a whirl, just curious as to your professional opinion on this wax for black cars ?

    TIA

Poorboys do the black hole personally I prefer the EZ creme but that is maybe because I apply it via a machine and it is a dream to work with but both are excellent.

In all honesty I've not used black velvet so cant give you an opinion other than it is a wax for dark coloured cars and dodo products are great I use a fair bit of there range
