my title question may be a silly one but i really am struggling to find a good cloth or pad or anything good to wax my car with.
i generally use auto glym resin polish but use halfords polishing clothes which are to be honest pretty crap!! they leave bits of cotton all over the place i hate them!! what do you guys use???

I have Carplan's Triplewax Premium (soemthing like that with a dark red label) cloths with the microfibre stuff and they are awesome. Easy to work with, great performance and once washed afterwards they are like new again.

you can drying cloths, application and buffing cloths too.

TBH, I got my Carplan Premium ones via a trade cash & carry at next to no cost, but haven't seen them in stores (not that I have looked hard for them).

If you can'ty find anything to suit, let me know and I'll grab you a a few the next time I go to the cash & carry.

for applying polish youd do better with a foam pad than a cloth. microfibre cloths are superb for removing polish waxes and glazes but not the best at applying, Sonus do a good one on the CYC website m8. its down to preference tho. if your using SRP from autoglym then to give you the edge add some of their Extra gloss Protection, seals it in and saves you having to apply as much polish next time.
