Years ago I had a basic Karcher pressure washer which soon after purchase became slightly erratic and then died

I need to get another one now, as I want to do all that pre-wash citrus m'larky etc. I need one with wheels, a good range of attachments would be nice but it needs to come with a detergent bottle into which I can put the snow foam/citrus prewash in. Ideally i'd like to spend between £50-£100 and would like the washer to be reliable!

If anyone knows if Costco do anything worthwhile I'll nip into the next town and take a look. Any suggestions are welcome.

    Hi DSK

Well, Im not up on models and prices at the minute TBO but I would heartily recommend another Karcher

Thats what I have got and for the money its been a great piece of kit.

Or a machine mart one....they are normally very good workhorses

I've been keeping an open mind, seen some interesting models by bosch, (tesco has some ok ones I think), Karcher's seem popular but if I get another (which I am not reluctant to do) I will definately be adhering to the warranty!

Good call on the machine mart Boostist , I'll see what they have to offer on their site.

Ok, got myself a Karcher with WARRANTY (lol) from Costco, just got a decent deal on a K2900M.

Swung by Halfrauds to get the snow foam attachment and on the off chance I need it grabbed the hose pipe connect thing (£22! ).

Just ordered some https://www.bilthamber.com/autofoam.html direct from them for £17.25 delivered to my door (so can't wait to receive it and get started). It was cheaper than the options from ultimate finish and this Billet Hammer stuff gets great reviews!

I think I need this stuff as it should help shift the intial crap from the car as well as help remove some previously applied waxes etc.

I can't believe(well I can but you know what I mean) some people take it so seriously, It's really a big thing for some people, when I saw the "measuring the thickness of the paint" and then going over to make it even

    It reminds me of this!

Fully detailed cars really stand out like nothing else. Whilst I don't have the time or money to do each step myself, I do try to do my best to learn and do a bit more so that i can get a decent finish and care for the paint work as best as I can.
