    Alright guys!

in the next couple of months, I would like to treat my car to another wax job. I normally do this two or three times a year using the same process of Wash, dry, p21s paintwork cleanser then p21s carnauba wax. I'm always impressed with the results, but after reading up about car detailing the last few months and also the Detailing Handbook above, i have decided that I would like to go that bit further next time round.

To do this, I will also be picking up a clay bar.

I don't have many noticeable scratches or swirls on my car, but i would like to pick up a polish. Can you guys recommend a good one? I don't want to spend more than about £15

I also want to go down the sealant route too. Any recommendations? Again no more than about £15. I have been eyeing up Poorboys EX-P. ANyone else use this?

    cheers

    It's the same thing,

There's a website BigBenStrikes uses as a bible when it comes to detailing, but it escapes me.

I'm sure he'll be along shortly to tell!

    Stealer!!

Ide reccommend Autoglym SRP as it contains filler to hide the swirls as bmw paint is pretty solid!! I use that then use Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection which is a sealant then i apply 2 coats of Collinite 476s..

yeah have already had a look on there and another place called DetailingBliss. Proper anorak stuff on there, but they know their stuff

trawled through a load of the threads showing photos of detailing work on cars. Some outstanding looking cars out there!

I actually have some of that Autoglym Super Resin and Extra Gloss stuff. I used them on my 120d about a year ago, but wasnt impressed with the results, so went back to my usual p21s. Thing is though, i dont think gave it a fair chance as dont think i applied them properly in first place.

Do you apply sealant/gloss then wait 12-24hrs before applying wax?

I fancy trying a different wax this time round, so have been eyeing up Collinite 915 Marques Elegance wax last couple days. Is your 476 easy to apply? What results like? Ever used the 915?
