right guys been thinking this over for some while and carnt decide tbh its due the respray befor july so i realy auta start making plans and get to work so im not without the car for a little as possible unless the wife passes her test then she can chaffuer.

anyway its currently jet black just tatty in places and stonchipped to death few scratches ect. so my uncles painting it for me i dont want a colour change just black again as i like it how it is.
been toying with matt black as i like the look. is it hard to keep clean ect as i undertsand you carnt polish them do i just wash it with clean water no soap. and dry it off with microfiber towels.

    or

should i go with a shiney black again and keep it polished hmmm
whats your veiws guys i know you always give great feedback

id go for gloss in the idea you will get a hell of a lot more for it all shiny and new if you ever want to sell it.

Hi mate.. I just remembered that I have seen matt black E36 in Finland.

Matt black has been in and out here for about 20+ years.. my dad had matt black Ford Sierra when he was young(er/ish)

In the 90's it it was big hit but turned into this boy racer stamp on your forehead.

After 10 years of being disappeared it has now come back in last couple of years with massive attack.
As you can see with that V8 powered E36 it's not anymore about furrydizes and scent-trees (called wunderbaum)
I think nowadays you can paint your car in matt colours without sacrificing any washing abilities. as this "frozen gray" M3 shows:

BMW also introduced the Frozen Grey mate finish paint.
"According to them, BMW Individual produced only 30 M3′s in Frozen Grey for the world market in October." (posted in 2009)
    More of that here:http://www.bmwblog.com/2009/11/05/bm...3-at-bmw-welt/

PS. If you want to read more about V8 E36 here is a link: http://www.driftworks.com/forum/tech...-into-e36.html
