Start on the Golf mate, you know that the paint is hard enough on that, conversely, you know that the paint on the 500 is..... weaker ....

    You will be fine, honestly...

Maybe get to the scrappy and get a cheapy panel you can practice on, or buy something off eBay.

That's what I would do that way you get try different techniques etc.

I think that was the advise that Mark @ Autobrite gave us TBH... Try it on a scrap panel first, maybe the 500 is the best candidate then..

its easy to finish the paint off, if your just refreshing the paint work though i would just use g6 (cos its easier to get off the trims) and an electric buffer to make the job easier.

a practise pannel makes sense here, then even if you do mess it up

All you have lost is the cost of the pannel,

where as if it goes horribly wrong on the porsche there will be alot of swearing and a hefty bill :(

Mark you can try it on my side skirts or bonnet if you want, the side skirts im replacing ut the bonnet just a general mess. And im only 5 minutes down the road/
None of the ideas expressed above are actually mine. They are told to me by Luthor and Ferdinand, the five inch tall space aliens who live under my desk. In return for these ideas, I have given them permission to eat any dust bunnies they may find under there.
