    Finding it difficult to get a real shine on my Sparkling Graphite 3 series. Been down the clay, polish, seal and wax route, and the car looks okay for a day or so after a regular shampoo, but I just find the finish "dulls" very quickly.

    Tried Collinite wax, and currently using Meguiares, but is there a wax that leaves a nice "wet look" finish?

    I use Meguiars 'Last Touch' on my car. Best detailing spray I have used thus far. Buy it in 4litres off the net and share it with my neighbours who all have shiny cars now

    Have a look in the Midlands Meet photos to see the shine in action

    I use Autoglym HD wax - can't fault it and gives a good deep shine.

    When ever i take my car out people ask "what do you polish it with"

    for over 5 years I've used "Muc Off' buy it online or at Halfords.

    Lots of laughter usually breaks out, especially from those who believe polish should only be applied left to right BUT it speaks for itself really.

    Depends how long you want it to last in my opinion, me I prefer to use a sealant over a wax. Always gives a deeper/glossier shine but the downside to it is that it won't last as long as a wax;

    I do however wash my car most weekends and re-apply a layer of sealant every time I clean it. For the sake of an extra 10 minutes it makes a huge difference,

    I could not rate this more.. as a detailer by hobby I can safely say I've tried what seams to be hundreds of products and this still amazes me to this day. Gives a great look and leaves the paint feeling like glass.. beads great in the rain as well.. but like I said downside is it won't last as long as a wax.

    As for the car dulling, some wax's don't like being layered on-top of a sealant, I know on my old metallic green car my dodo wax used to give a misty effect after a day or so if I put it on-top of a sealent lol..

    Just want to add, that my car is clayed, polished and waxed regularly. I then apply this Detailing Spray following each wash to enhance the shine. Seems I misinterpreted the OP.

    Just like to recommend DuraGloss AquaWax, I use this on the car after every 2nd weekly wash and the depth of shine it gives is quite remarkable
