Ok guys, question for you all....

I routinely clay, polish and wax my car. Last waxed (AG HD Wax) about 6 weeks ago.

What should I do to strip the wax off to have a play with another wax without the faff of claying again. Should I wash with an MPC ? Will an IPA wipedown remove it ? Will polishing again remove it fully ?

Seems like an IPA wipedown should suffice

Good question! I'd be willing to bet fairy liquid if you're starting again, but I'm a complete novice at this...

That would work Simon, but I know that Mark already has IPA, so a quick wipe down before rewaxing should prevent any problems applying the new wax and ensure that it enhances the shine further - from what I read in the thread I linked anyway...

    How much is that IPA?

Mark i'd just get hold of some panel wipe from your local paint shop, 5 litres for around a tenner and use it out of a pressure pump bottle. Removes all grease and evaporates a bit like a alcohol.

If he's got it in then why not, it is isopropanol alcohol and not the Peroni version hes got?
The Bogoff offer from AB is a cracker for all those that need to replenish their detailing stock tho
