    I got my foam lance from Autobrite directly off their site via recommendation from the Jaguar club. Proper reliable lance that too and so it should be for just under £50!

    The chap who did my car today, he's got a set of D2 Racing 8 piston brakes on his;

    I was seriously jealous. Was going to take pictures but the rain was gently spitting all the way through and his youngest was running about so didn't bother. I'm nipping down again in a week or two, will get some pictures of his car then. The chap works for himself, fabricates many Supra parts like these cool lights etc;

    Mark - To be honest the standard UK spec 4 piston setup is much better than whats on the M5's and its just stunning. Wikepedia even state that the only production car to beat its stopping distance was the Carrera GT. I'm sure others car were just as good but thats saying something itself.

    If I go for anything like AP Racing or the D2 set up it will be only for the asthetics as many club members are happy running circa 550bhp on track days with OE brakes......

    bigedd9990 - Waxoyl is next on the job list, I need it to stop raining so that I can get under the car get busy with the wire brush first.

    328 Mark - pink is different

    Mark - have a look at this;

    OE brakes = £900ish + fitting
    3G drilled and grooved = £900 + fitting
    AP Racing 6 Racing Setup = £2,300
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    D2 Racing 8 pot set up = £1,035 http://www.bigbrakes4u.co.uk/racing-...ems-p-434.html

    There's a couple of forum members happily running these D2 brakes. Going to try and do some more digging to see what their reliability is like and how easy it is to get replacement discs & pads.

    Done some homework on the D2 8 pot brake set up......

    The owners that have them are more of the boy racer ish types and rate them, however the serious drivers say that the standard UK spec brakes that I have are as good if not better! Just had the owner that's got the show car who worked on mine, he himself said that the D2 set up is not a step forward from my stock set up, its only the looks that people are buying this kit for.

    BigBrakes, it turns out is up the road from me, so I'll pop in and see what they can do for the AP Racing 6 pot kit for, web price is about £1850, will pop in and ask for the best cash price.
