Hi mate, depends on how bad the scratches are...if they are big might be an option to get them smart repaired, thats what i did to mine 2 weeks ago. 90% removal.

however if you have major swirl marks / paint problems then defo would recommend getting the paint corrected via a detailer. Will be having this done to mine shortly to bring it back to as new condition.

The results will blow you away. Google it under car detailers and have a look at some of the galleries...gleammachine on here is very good have a look at his work.

    hope it helps.

thanks for that mate - appreciate it

what kind of costs can i expect you reckon?

2007 325 coupe and it's got scratches on almost every panel - looks like they have been caused with the pipe on a jet wash or something

You'll be looking at 2 days for a Coupe if the paint is as described, you'll probably not get a 100% correction but pretty damn close

Don't go to a detailer unless you've seen their work, they can show you example or they come recommended, you really do get what you pay for.

You'd be surprised what a good detailer can take out but general rule is if you can catch your nail in the scratch you are looking at painting it.

I did this a couple of months ago, looks grim

But came up like this but I had to wet sand the entire car to get it to that finish!

Don't know anyone down your way but check detailing world, you'll get a recommendation off there.

    Good Luck
