I've managed to buy some clear lens rear lights for my e36 and just before I put them on I've given them a good clean.

Whilst cleaning I noticed the seals don't feel particularly spongey and a friend of mine recommended rubbing them with zymol vinyl conditioner but I've just looked at the price and it's £30 a bottle

Is there a cheaper solution that would do the job as the other problem I see is zymol seems to be mail order only - I can't seem to find someone who sells the stuff in Wolverhampton.

At the risk of sounding stoopid what's silicone spray and where do I get it from?

Could I trouble you for a weblink to a suitable product so I know what to buy ( halfords would be ideal)
