Thanks for the advise Neal...well I got my refund back and also recieved the black angel eye/projector units today from this source, delivery was in 24 hours which is pretty good, shame the company that makes them only does them in black.

    Big Box:

    Hmm Box In A Box..

Boxes In Box In Box...(well packaged obviously)

    Ah!

    Unit Rear

    Front, looks weird!

    Projector

    Indicator

Anyway am getting the units fitted tomorrow, really don't know how bright the angels/other bulbs will be, no idea if the black unit will look good or not...but hay may as well give it a go!

    i personally wouldnt bother

the light output is going to be much poorer than your oem ones

the build quality will be another thing

ive seen units which after a weeks weeks, the ballasts inside the units come loose and rattle all over the place

Really?...I'm a bit worried now!...how do you know the output will be poorer and quality worse?...have you experience with this product?

They are made by a specialist lighting company who work for BMW and Mercedes and carry a full 12 month warranty.

I will keep the original units just in case!

"Ultra Auto Design are market leaders in the design and supply of performance car light units including headlights, rear lights and side repeaters as well as performance bulbs and lenses. The Ultra product range is very extensive with over 700 different products available. Every product from Ultra Auto Design comes with a full guarantee and extensive fitting instructions. Each product is also E-marked and fully road legal (Unless otherwise stated). This means that your car will still pass an M.O.T test after fitting Ultra lights. "

Well just got the car back and have to say I'm pretty pleased so far! Look so much better than the original units though have still to judge how they look/perform at night.

I will be looking to get a HID/Xenon upgrade to pop in to complete the super white 7000k look.

Here are some pics that were taken in bright sunshine, will do some more as dusk approaches!

Just wondering when converting to hid's do people generally do both side light and main bulbs or just one?....7000k seems a popular choice, presume more than that will compromise MOT?
