What could go wrong in purchasing these?...bit expensive...would they really be easy to fit "plug n play"....or would it be better to get an expert to do it...there seems to be nowhere in the Uk or even Europe that provides these and I'm sure there is a demand...

What puts me off those is that the rings are the same size as opposed to large and small per lamp. May look a bit odd compared to stock lamps. But if you really like them, I can try and find you a guide to swap them them out if you want.

i boughtr a silimar setup for my e46 but got them from the states. They were suppost to be plug and play but ended up modifying the wiring for the sidelights to power up the angel eyes as all it was doing was bringing the light warning up on the dash. Don't know if thats relavent to an E90 though

Reading around it seems the auto levelling function isnt going to work? something about factory fitted Xenons etc had a clever thing so when you went up hill the forward approaching cars were not dazzled. Retro fitting such a kit as this, spangly as it looks, might encourage lots of being flashed by other drivers.

    Hmmmm

That's the same with all aftermarket HID kits

I've retrofitted xenons to my E36 and hardly anyone has flashed me - I've had them in since end of February/March time and probably been flashed just 3 or 4 times and thats with my headlights wrongly aligned. Since having them aligned I've not been flashed once.

i'll echo what joe says...my aftermarket kit gets no reaction from oncoming traffic, and that includes police cars
it must be cheaper to get the angels and a hid kit and fit it yourself?
