Hello all, I posted yesterday but in a bid to edit my post slightly the post seems to have been deleted.

Anyway, I was wondering what people thought the damage to my car would cost me from tiles hitting it (unfortunately unable to claim through car or home insurance). Tiles hit it from one of my neighbours houses but as most of the roofs lost tiles any one of them could be to blame.

Anyway, hopefully the pictures below should show the extent of the damage. It is just above the drivers door and on the roof as the tile tumbled and a scrape on the boot. I will need to get this fixed as it has started to rust. I have been quoted £365 but that is only from one bodysho, I plan to see some more on Tuesday when I am off work but was wondering what you gus think the ball park is.

On a side note, I have notices some rust on the rear arches, is this common and fixable?

Thats a little bit nasty, although not unfixable. A good body shop should definately be able to take this on, over here (Ireland) about €600 - €700 i would think.

I spoke to a body shop this morning but not good news, about £600 - £700.

I think I am just going to patch it up. Anyone know the best way (emery paper, primer, paint and the laquer - is this right?) I have no idea how to do this, Im not paying that to get the car fixed, just not worth it.
