The previous owner seems to have spilled some paint in the boot and tried to clean it up. Its resulted in the boot carpet & lining having white paint feigntly spread over it. Can anyone suggest a way to remove?

I have tried white spirit, piant stripper (helped lift it, but ended up getting creamy and spreading it more)

I also have two tiny spots of white paint on my black leather part of the seat, how would I remove this? Cant scratch it off..

    Heat / Petrol any good?

You could try brake cleaner, worked wonders when getting paint off my work boots after refreshing the workshop floor.

Brake cleaner on the carpet? Or the leather?

Will try anything on the carpet as it cant really get worse... I even wondered if getting some black paint in there would help (strange idea... but I cant see it looking any worse than it is right now)

Leather on the other hand I havent got a clue whats safe to use.

coca cola is pretty good at cleaning stuff, might make your carpets a little sticky though...
they use it to clean blood off the highway after an RTA...(so rumour has it)

Oil based paint comes off with Mr. Muscle aerosol oven cleaner. Let it go to work and then use a foamy shampoo to lift the dissolved paint out. If you're lucky it's acrylic paint, and you can do the same trick with Fairy Power Spray. That stuff eats acrylic paint in minutes.
