Having just bought a 328i vert in Cosmos metallic black, I have inherited sliver coachlines ( stuck on thin sliver stripes) down each side.

They are not ropey in any way, but I cant make my mind up whether I like them or not?

If I wanted to remove them what tips can you guys give?

I am concerned that they will leave a darker shadow as they have been on the car a long time I reckon...

    Anyone ever done anything similar?

Weren't they a factory option? I think they are quite funky Guessing a hairdryer and lots of time would shift them....

One day I like 'em, next day I don't... to me it ages the car ( I think) ...

    The coachlines are gone!

Luckily the peeled away dead easily, and have left no residual shadow or markings.

( I knew I never liked 'em, they fought with the line in the panelwork)
