    Hey,

    i need to kno how much i would be looking at to refurb a set of 18" alloys, which have all been kerbed quite badly but have deep dish type polished lip and i want to retain the polished lip!!

    also do u know of any decent but cheap refurb places in the Yorkshire area (im nr sheffield)??

    any info much appreciated.

    A few of the companies that refurb do collect and deliver service. Spit and Polish are probably the most well known. Have you googled - wheel refurbishing ? For a proper wheel refurb company, you will be looking at about 50 quid per wheel upwards. Is it a polished dish you have or diamond cut? Polished lip are really smooth to look at, but the diamond cut finish has tiny lines where the diamond tip has cut the surface of the metal, which WILL be visible.

    Ask in car body repair shops too, they will know of places that can do refurbs too.

    You could DIY it if the cost worries you! Only problem is getting the exact same silver

    Not sure if they do a collect and deliver service, but lap tab in brum have come highly recommended to me. They wanted £300 or so to do my 18's in smoled chome (special finish rather than a standard jobbie).
