    Hi

I've decided to sort my old E36 328i Touring out as will need to use it for the next 12 months as between cars.

It's a cracking motor but needs a few tweaks here and there to bring it a little upto date and make the driving experience better.

The first is leather seats, which I'm hunting for on Ebay but the problem is Touring Sports leather seats don't come up that often but hopefully soon!

I've just fitted some Alpina wheels which look nice (I'll post pics this weekend) but one thing I would like to sort is the steering wheel, it's the standard 3 point wheel and although fine it is very thin and hard (no jokes) and just makes the car feel so old.

My last two BMW's a 645 and a 330 both quite new had lovely leather, thick steering wheels. I've done some searching but the airbag seems to stop most from changing but is there a nice way? Anyone found a nice cover?

I'd also like to change the side skirts, at the moment they are just the plan solid metal ones and ideally like to fit some of the sport skirts, is this possible?

My last tweak is to the speakers, my 328i even with upgraded speakers sounds rubbish as the orginal speakers are very small and also hidden deep in the footwell or high right at the back in the roof lining, what's a good upgrade without going ICE ott???

Any help or advice from an existing E36 328i touring owner would be great!

Think I've found the answer to the sterring wheel issue, Jack at Royal Steering Wheels in Abingdon.

Does anyone know where I could get a Alpina front splitter?
