i appear to have some rust on my arch

i have been to two body shops

    1. whole new panal (exspensive)

    2. remove bumper grind of affected area, fibreglass, and some kind of putty (cheaper)

the 2nd option is cheaper and when i asked how long it will last the guy said it will last as long as the new panal?

what do you guys think? . Craigledden.

I had a whole new arch welded in and sprayed, cost me 400 quid.

Couldnt be happier with it really.

Doubt the second idea will last as long as a new panel, as even if you grind out the rust you can see, its still in the metal
